Dwayne Marcum

Update on injured driver Dwayne Marcum - By Ken Wagner - 05/11/05 - Dwayne Marcum is currently recovering from injuries in his hometown of Fresno, California. Marcum crashed at Perris a few weeks ago. He required surgery on his back to insert two rods to repair two cracked vertebra. Now he spends his time walking and climbing stairs to get back to normal. He still has some healing from the other bumps and bruises form the crash, but all is doing well. He is working hard towards returning to shape to drive the Bill and Evelyn Pratt # 12 sprinter again. He reports he is ahead of schedule in his recovery and hopes to be an out patient in rehab as soon as next week.
