Late race pass nets Chico Civil War victory for Mark Hall in round #2 By Bill Sullivan CHICO, Ca (4-16-04) - After a month off since the season opener, the Hoosier Racing Tires Civil War Series returned to competition Friday night with its first season appearance at John Padjen's Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico. The event was the second in 13 events for the series and marked the first of three season appearances at the Silver Dollar fairground. Saturday's event had three different leaders during the 30-lap feature event including a former Silver Dollar Speedway winner from out of state, a second year year driver looking for his first ever win and a division veteran who used skill and patience to eventually steal the win in the waning laps.
