......Lucas Wolfe, the 16-year-old son of Randy Wolfe recently ran his first winged sprint car race at Williams Grove. The Cumberland Valley High School student qualified for the feature in a tough field of Central Pa. regulars. After running in his first ever sanctioned sprint car program, the $6,000 to win Early Bird Championship at Williams Grove on Friday, Wolfe will travel to Western Pa. on Saturday and Sunday to compete in a 125cc shifter kart at the BeaveRun Motorsports Complex in Wampum, Pa. Racing on the road course at BeaveRun for Wolfe is part of the Championship Auto Racing Team (CART) "Champ Car Stars of Tomorrow" series for up and coming race car drivers. Indy car veteran Bobby Rahal oversees the series.
