Notes: Ron Blair caught the wall and flipped in turn 1 at the start of the first heat race. Blair was uninjured.

Kevin Swindell hit the wall and flipped in turn 1 at the start of the third heat race. Swindell emerged from the car uninjured.

Jack Pillon hit the wall and flipped in turn 1 on the restart of the third heat race. As with Blair and Swindell, Pillon was able to walk away. Brandon Wimmer was racing Randy Hannagan for 3rd in heat race #3 when he spun in turn 3, collecting Joey Saldana (5th at the time). Daryn Pittman (7th at the time) spun to avoid Wimmer and Saldana, and collected Brock Mayes, who flipped. No injuries.

Mark Hery caught the wall exiting turn 4 at the start of the 4th heat race and flipped down the frontstretch. Hery was transported to the hospital for observation, but was conscious and alert, and waved to the crowd when extricated from the car.

A-main

Kraig Kinser and Danny Lasoski used provisionals to start the A-main

Lap 1—Paul McMahan and Jac Haudenschild got together at the start of the A-main, with McMahan flipping into the catch fence on the frontstretch. McMahan was uninjured, and directed his car to the work area for repairs. Haudenschild was unable to restart due to a broken driveline. Complete restart.

Lap 1—Jason Solwold and Sammy Swindell raced side by side out of turn 4, with Solwold getting the lead in turns 1&2

Lap 2—Steve Kinser passed Jason Meyers for 6th low in 1&2

Lap 3—Steve Kinser took 5th from Bill Rose low in 1&2

Lap 6—Traffic. Jason Solwold’s lead 1.1 seconds over Sammy Swindell

Lap 11—Steve Kinser passed Craig Dollansky for 4th low exiting turn 4

Lap 12—Sammy Swindell took the lead from Jason Solwold on the top exiting turn 4

Lap 13—Caution for Kerry Madsen (21st at the time), who spun in turn 2

Lap 19—Tim Kaeding passed Craig Dollansky for 5th low exiting turn 4

Lap 22—Steve Kinser passed Chad Kemenah for 3rd low exiting turn 2

Lap 24—Jason Meyers got 6th from Craig Dollansky low exiting turn 4

Lap 25—Sammy Swindell won by 1.29 seconds
