Quotes Danny Lasoski

“We had a terrible night last night. I just have to thank Jimmy Carr, Todd Splain, and this entire JD Byrider crew for working hard tonight. I also have to thank Jason Meyers—he drove to Pittsburgh today to meet Paul Kistler and pick up an engine for us along with one of his. It didn’t get to the track until about 4pm this afternoon. We came to the track tonight without a motor in the car. I knew most of the guys were probably going to run up top on the lip (of the track), and as you know you can’t pass anyone running where they are. I watched Donny Kreitz in the B-main, and he ran good on the bottom, so I just told Jimmy Carr ‘let’s just set it up to run the bottom.’ I had no idea how big a lead I had at the end. You just saw everything I’ve got. I remember winning a prelim here, and I remember waking up somewhere over (in turn 3) the next night, but I don’t remember the crash, and I don’t want to. But to get a feature win here and at Eldora this year, it’s just unbelievable.”
