Steve Kinser “survives” to Sweep NST
Inaugural Weekend at
Thunderbowl

The second night of racing at the
Thunderbowl Speedway in
Steve Kinser once again show why he
is “the King”. After a third row start
and getting passed by Paul McMahan
and Sammy Swindell, Steve moved up the
track and put on a show of how to go
fast “up top.”
It looked like it was going to be
all Ronnie Day,
chose the inside pole. The choice was his because he was the
quickest dash
winner. He said, “I need to thank Sammy Swindell for
(making me mad) and
giving me the incentive. They can’t come and kick (me around) in my
backyard.” He tore away from the field on the
start. His lead was
impressive until he ran into Travis
Rutz (8R) who had spun in turn 4.
